Nail tech Aly Barbosa of Aly’s Nails in North Arlington, N.J. demonstrates how to encapsulate custom acrylic blends to a French tip design.
1. Prep the natural nails for an acrylic nail enhancement and apply forms.
2. Create a custom blend of silver glitter acrylic powder and seashell glitter.
3. Place the acrylic mix on different areas of the extended tip. Encapsulate the entire nail with clear acrylic and shape the nail as desired. Buff and cleanse.
4. Use white gel-polish and a striper brush to paint swirls over the glitter and seashell tip. Finish the look with top coat.
