Happy Veterans Day! We should be thankful for the sacrifices our veterans and their families make everyday. However if it's slipped your mind, today is a good day to bring it back to the forefront.

No matter your feelings about the politics of war, the amazing men and women that chose to serve their country in the belief that they were protecting us, deserve your respect and thanks. Freedom to choose so many simple things that are not options for those in other countries as we take them all for granted. I'm proud of every veteran, especially those I've had the privilege to call family or friend. When you thank a higher power at the beginning of your day for all you've been given in life, be sure to include thanks for the veterans that gift you the freedom to enjoy it!
