Travel Trips Up My Plans to Eat Healthy

How is the healthier eating going? I seem to struggle more when traveling than at any other time.

I’ve found the egg and cheese protein box from Starbucks is a good option while traveling.

How is your effort at being slightly healthier this year going? I seem to struggle more when traveling than at any other time.

The salon has gotten easier on the days. I take the time to pre-plan and carry meals and snacks with me. It is so weird how eating a good breakfast and few snacks will stimulate your appetite and yet you are satisfied with less.

Traveling has proved to be harder to pre-plan as I am not enthusiastic about traveling with yet another bag! There are a few things that have become staples, like instant oatmeal, nuts, and jerky. They are easy to acquire almost anywhere and do not take up much space in my luggage. Eating out is another obstacle. Luckily there are places like Starbucks that offer high-protein options that are traveler friendly.

With the upcoming holidays, all of us need to remember to drink more water so we can stay hydrated and survive the onslaught!
