Renowned nail educator Vicki Peters is hosting a one-day class on e-filing that techs can take to receive a certificate stating they are educated on e-file safety and technique. The instructors are Simmy Bredal-Bell, TeamVicki Director of Education; and Christine McGrath, TeamVicki Coach.
The 5-½ hour course includes all aspects of how to use an electric file, how bits are made, bit finishes and shapes, what bits are used for, how to care for your machine, sanitation procedures, using an electric file safely, and a Vicki Vision demonstration on surface, cuticle, and backfill work.
There are two hours of hands-on practice with personal instruction on individual needs, and each student will receive a Certificate indicating Safe Electric File Use Training.
The class is August 8th, 2010, in Bohemia, N.Y.
Pre-registration is required by July 25, 2010.
