What a busy couple weeks it has been! With Vicki Peters’ Nail Those Profits cruise, then the ISSE Long Beach show, it has been a whirlwind of activity and travel. I will do my best to give you the scoop on both in alternating blogs to keep things interesting.
The cruise began with a meet-and-greet to hand out programs for the week and see who all was going to be hanging and doing nails. Nail Talk Radio announced their sticker contest for the week and introductions were made all around. The group had dinner together and everyone was looking forward to a week filled with education and fun! Sunday, January 18, was the first full day at sea. Classes were held on sea days so that cruisers can enjoy the stops when the ship visits different ports.

One of Vicki’s sisters was able to be on the cruise in her place and brought a few of her ashes.
We joined in with rose petals and purple holographic glitter tossing them up in the air along with our love.
The wind captured everything and swirled it about a bit before settling into the ocean. It was an amazing moment of peace, remembrance, sadness, and yet a bit of closure.
I hope that she is smiling down on us all seeing how much fun we had and how much we learned on her cruise as she wished.
