It gave us time to give each other some services and work on our nail art. A classmate and I gave each other Shellac manis. I chose blue and gold for mine. I just love the Additives from CND. My classmate, Ashley, chose black Shellac and a plum Additive.
Over the weekend, I went to a little girls’ tea party. I polished and “blinged” out their nails. I showed them how to do their own designs. It was fun!
I find myself dreaming of nails and everything I want to do. I tuned in Sunday night to Nail Talk Radio. (It’s an online broadcast dedicated to the nail industry.) I took some mental notes. During week five, we received another lecture on skin structure, growth, and nutrition and tests on pedicures and nail tips and wraps. A good portion of the week was focused on giving manicures.
NAILS has a new student blogger! San Diego-based Gregory Fletcher is looking forward to getting into the nail industry after retiring from his first career in the financial services industry
Let’s continue to shine, continue to spread light, joy and love to all around us! We’ll make a difference one smile, one hug, one nail service at a time!
