Week 8 Social Media Post: Don’t Shave Before Pedicures

Make sure clients know not to shave their legs within 24 hours of receiving a pedicure.

We have all had that moment when a guest reassures you that she shaved this morning especially for her pedicure. Then the shocked look on her face when you inform her that she should not shave for 24 hours prior to her service. Seeing as shaving the legs creates hundreds of invisible, microscopic cuts that could become infected, this seemed like a worthwhile bit of information to add to our public service announcement series.
