With a new schedule, I’ve been able to meet more people at school and I’ve even made new friends. So now I have more hands to practice on!
Color blocking has quickly become my go-to for classmates.
Week nine was dedicated to more manicures. While I still need to gain confidence with nipping, I can file, buff, and polish with ease. Okay, I lie. I do get a bit nervous but a couple of deep breaths make all the difference. This time around, I even got to work on nail art.

During week ten, I got an introductory demo to spa manicures and I even got to practice.

During week five, we received another lecture on skin structure, growth, and nutrition and tests on pedicures and nail tips and wraps. A good portion of the week was focused on giving manicures.
NAILS has a new student blogger! San Diego-based Gregory Fletcher is looking forward to getting into the nail industry after retiring from his first career in the financial services industry
Let’s continue to shine, continue to spread light, joy and love to all around us! We’ll make a difference one smile, one hug, one nail service at a time!
