Working in a casino resort spa gives you the best of both worlds. You have your regular clients — clients you see during the holidays and vacations. And you also have clients you'll see just one time. The thing I focus on the most is giving every client who sits in my chair my professional best. Whether I see them in two weeks or never again, I want them to see my passion for our industry.
I make it my goal to ask my clients what they do and don't like about their nails. I try to highlight what they like and give them suggestions on how to correct what they don't like. Even something as simple as recommending a cuticle oil for a client will leave a lasting impression on them. I want them to remember their relaxing service with me. When they return to their homes, I hope I've raised their expectations for their next service provider.
