On Saturday, March 21, the beauty industry united to posthumously honor Pivot Point International’s founder Leo Passage. The hairstylist and cosmetology school founder was an advocate for continuing education and he was selected by Beauty Changes Lives (BCL) to receive this year’s Legacy Award for revolutionizing the business of beauty education.
Pro Nails Hip Hop Music Video: Kid Sister Feat. Kanye West
Chicago-based hip hop artist Kid Sister (now known as Jane Jupiter) released the "Pro Nails" single in 2007 with her debut album Ultraviolet. The music video, directed by Ruben Fleischer, is a remix of "Pro Nails" and features a verse and cameo from Kanye West. Filmed at a nail salon, it also features West and others moonwalking, dancing, and breakdancing with their fingers and newly manicured nails.

Events included the Beauty Changes Lives fashion presentation honoring Leo Passage, an emphasis on healthy living, a day for students, and a cameo by members of the Backstreet Boys.
