Carpeting manicuring areas is never ideal, as carpet is harder to keep clean than a tiled floor. However, to solve your problem, I’d recommend long rolls of the same material that you see under office chairs (you can buy it in office supply stores like Office Depot).

You know how sometimes we mix several glitters together and they make that magical combination that just pops, and other times the results are just so-so? What makes the difference? What gives more of the 3-D look? I thought I read somewhere that adding either the crystal/white or a light shade to a darker shade makes it stand out better. On some of my natural nail clients my polish tends to bubble. I clean the nail plate with acetone very well before I polish. Then I use base coat, two coats of polish, and top coat. I usually have them hold their fingers in front of a fan between coats, and I spray a rapid dryer on after I finish. Any ideas?... read more
