What should I do differently with male clients?

February 21, 2017

Getting more male clients starts with customer service. It begins with making him comfortable and learning to engage with him. It’s about knowing your customer and his interests. Let’s be honest, men love to chat just as much as women do. If he mentions he loves golf, discuss golf with him while doing his nails. It’s just a conversation. At cürBAR we focus on the overall experience. Men don’t require polish the majority of the time. We make up for that with an extra massage. They usually appreciate that.
Typically a men’s manicure should be 30 minutes and the same for a pedicure. We allot 45 minutes to an hour for a mani/pedi combo. We charge $10 less for mani/pedis for men to encourage them to come in.
