The A Polymer and Competition lines are traditional acrylic, meaning they require primer for proper adhesion. The A Polymer when used with Q Monomer gives the tech more work time. All but one of the design or colored powders are made with A Polymer so creating fades and designs are easier.
The High-Definition (HD) system is a primer optional system. The monomer and polymer adhere to the nail plate with or without primer. With most traditional systems the liquid-to-powder ratio is 2:1; the ratio for the HD system is 1:1. When using HD powder with HD monomer, you get a longer working time than the A Polymer line.
Professionals that have mastered their technique can use our Q Monomer with the HD powders. This gets you the benefits of the HD powders but a working time between a medium and fast set.
