One of the main causes for bubbles in the acrylic comes from an improper mix ratio. If you do not have your mix ratio correct, you can get air bubbles. If your ratio is too wet, the product can shrink and create air bubbles while it is drying. If it’s too dry, the air can actually be trapped within the powder and create air bubbles as you finish the nail. So make sure your mix ratio is balanced and the air bubbles should go away. — Lisa Wong is an educator for CND.
