The Professional Beauty Association (PBA) is gearing up to host the International Salon and Spa Expo (ISSE) on January 28-30, 2017. You and your students will benefit from attending this award-winning industry show, which includes global manufacturers, industry-leading educators, and exciting competitions.
I walked the show floor and asked, "What's your best troubleshooting tip for nail techs?"

Jean Kuan shows how to apply Japanese LED lights from Mr. Nail Art at the International Salon and Spa Expo in Long Beach, Calif. The LED light is activated by the NFC signal from an Android phone. For iPhone users, the technology is locked and the LED won't work unless you have an iPhone 6 and you're paying through Apple pay. The LED nail art shown at 2:17 was created by Fariha Ali (@nailjob), Nikki Diamond (@nikkidiamond01), and Marisol Alvarado (@sinplycreativeartistry) at the House of Polish in Beverly Hills, Calif.

So much to do and so little time, Holly prowled the ISSE show floor with intention to see all she could.
Young Nails CEO Greg Salo shows how the Caption Stamping Plate works using a spongey stamp. The plates are deep, and it can be used with Young Nails Caption polish or Young Nails pigments. Be sure not to clean the stamp with acetone. Use a lint roller or the sticky part of a nail form to pull product off of the stamp. The Caption Stamping Plates, on the other hand, can be cleaned with acetone.
After attending ISSELB15, Holly was disappointed by the lack of options for nail techs.
Last weekend, before the madness of the show began, NAILS and CND invited NAILS Next Top Nail Artist's Top 3 finalists and their guests to join us for an intimate dinner to celebrate making it this far.
