My last leg of the trip was an ambitious one. I traveled to Baltimore to tour salons in the surrounding area, which included Middletown, Del., and Silver Spring, Md.

Most of us are excited when there is a birthday to celebrate. Even more so when it's a milestone birthday. This year, my dear friend Maisie Dunbar turned 50. To celebrate, she set out to have 50 new experiences.
"I wanted to give back for my 50th birthday," says nail tech Maisie Dunbar. "I decided that since I was going to be in Houston for the Super Bowl, I wanted to partner with a local shelter and pamper its residents."
