Over 30,000 visitors walked the show floor at Cosmoprof North America in the Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas.1,015 exhibitors represented 39 countries to fill three sections: Cosmetics and Personal Care, Packaging, and Professional Beauty. Former Congressman talks discrimination on Vietnamese salons in Louisiana

Filmmaker Adele Pham shares her full interview with former U.S. Congressman Joseph Cao, the first Vietnamese-American to be elected to Congress, at the state senate for a bill hearing requiring the next member of the Louisiana state board of barbering and cosmetology to be someone who is Vietnamese that works within the nail industry. The Louisiana Board of Cosmetology has been accused of discriminating against Vietnamese-owned salons.
