The first big show of the year, the International Salon & Spa Expo (ISSE), kicked off in Long Beach, Calif., January 26-28, 2008. The show, hosted by the Professional Beauty Association (PBA), is the West Coast’s biggest show. More than 30,000 attendees visited booths from more than 465 exhibitors.
The National Cosmetology Association hosted Hairworld Chicago at America’s Beauty Show. In addition to the numerous hair competitions at the show, there were also some really inspiring nail competitions. I got on the competition floor for the Fantasy Nail Art competition and snapped these photos.
