Week 11: Taking Our First Clients on the Floor
Our first assignment as juniors to complete is called the "Five Client Project," but I wasn't sure how that would work for me since I'm not from the area and don't know too many people.

My goal is to reduce my spent on pink-and-whites since they're are a very popular service.
This week was busy: we worked on live models, tried 3-D art for the first time, and got a new instructor.
This week we started out with my favorite service, sculpted nails.
For the second half of the week, we learned how to do encapsulated nails, which was much harder than I anticipated.
My goodness, everyone was excited to learn acrylics. This is what we have been waiting for.
We're already two days away from finishing the first module and it feels like we just started.
I kind of hit a mental road block in regards to what nail art to paint. I was so excited to start and as soon as I had my material in front of me, I went blank.
I enjoyed my time spent with family over the long weekend, but all I can think about right now is learning nails!
It was Euphoria's first-ever student appreciation prom, and most of us in the class have never been to prom, so we've decided to make the best of it!
I've learned that being the first to introduce yourself or crack a joke can make the first day less stressful. It breaks the ice and makes everyone a little less tense.

Instructors: NAILS Magazine is looking for our next student blogger for NAILS 101: A Student Blog. Do you have a new student or know someone who will soon be starting nail school? Does this person love to post online and have a true enthusiasm for all things nails? We want to hear from her or him!
Hello, my name is Saniyyah Patrick, and I’m from Philadelphia, Pa. Before I decided to enroll in the nail tech program at Queen Beauty Academy, I was a stay-at-home mom and also a full-time student pursuing a degree in applied science with a concentration in surgical technology.
This week was my final week as a nail tech student. I can't believe it's over already. It went by so fast and I'm so proud to say I am now a licensed nail tech because I already passed my state board exams for my temporary license!
This week I finished all of my required services. On Monday, one of the cosmetology students asked me to do her nails after she saw my nail page. I gave her a full set and she loved it.
This week I had only one exam left and that was from the beginning of beauty school. I took it on Monday and scored 100% on it so I'm very happy. I have no exams and no hours to make up.
