NAILS Next Top Nail Artist: Top 9 contestant, Karrie Bowers from Morgantown, W.Va., create her own set of “International Nails” inspired by Scottland, the country of her family’s origin. The design is on five nail tips using a combination of mediums.
Beginning in January 2020, 10 former NTNA competitors were invited back to participate in OPI’s All Star contest. The first ever winner of this contest takes home $5,000, a Swarovski trophy, a trip back to L.A. as BEA mentor, and a trip to Spain!
In the NAILS Next Top Nail Artist, Top 6 contestant Lexi Martone from Dix Hills, N.Y., created a steampunk design for one hand using using mixed media. She received bonus points for using out-of-the-box (non-nail) materials. http://www.nailsmag.com/ntna2014
For NTNA S. 7 Pre-Challenge 2, sponsored by Swarovski, contestants were asked to create wearable nail art inspired by Swarovski’s Nail Art Report. The report identified three nail art wearing personas including The Crystal Lover, The Color Freak, and The Style Setter. Swarovski chose at random which competitor would be inspired by which persona for the challenge. This is Jessica's entry.
For the fourth NTNA S.7 challenge sponsored by Glitz Accessories & Such, contestants were asked to dazzle us with Vegas-inspired nail art. This is Jessica Warzyniak's entry.
