We’re down to the results of our last weekly challenge. See which contestants have secured their spot in our Final Challenge and who must battle head to head in CND’s Last Chance Design Lab for the last spot. Week 10 sponsor, EzFlow, asks our Top 3 contestants to create an enchanted fantasy world on one hand using enhancements and embellishments. This is our last weekly challenge. The Top 2, along with the winner of CND's Last Chance Design Lab, will move on to our finale competition in Chicago.
INM’s Jimmy the Swan came to life this past year in a series of animated shorts. Now it’s the contestants’ turn to make nail art come alive. The Top 4 were asked to create a fantasy nail art tip that has at least one movable component. The animated portion of the nail must be INM–related.The votes will be combined with our judges scores, the winner will receive a $500 gift certificate from INM, and one artist will be eliminated. It’s the 40th anniversary of “The Rocky Horror Picture Show,” and what better way to celebrate than with Gelish’s new Two-of-a-Kind color set and a Rocky Horror-inspired Challenge #8. Contestants were asked to create a Rocky Horror-inspired manicure that can be worn out for Halloween. The final set must include polish and gel-polish with the colors red, black, and white and a glow-in-the dark component. NAILS NTNA Challenge #7 is sponsored by China Glaze. To celebrate Pablo Picasso’s 134th birthday, the contestants were asked to paint a Picasso-inspired masterpiece on a single hand. This was a hand painting challenge so only acrylic paint and polish were allowed. Polish had to make up at least 50% of the final design.
