Linda Reinsone of Grantown on Spey, Scotland, took home first place in the Scottish Nail Technician Top Tech Photographic Nail Art category.

Cassandra Clark of Tangerine Salon & Spa in Coppell, Texas, was named NAHA’s Nail Professional of the Year.

These contests, established in 1967, test students on real-world skills and connect them with potential employers. The Nail Care category lets students compete with other aspiring techs from around the country. The 52nd SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference — including the SkillsUSA Championships — will be held in Louisville, Ky., June 20-24, 2016.

Season three has been a record-breaking shake-up of international proportions. After 10 tough weeks, three nail artists are left standing. On March 13 at America’s Beauty Show in Chicago, only one will be named NAILS Next Top Nail Artist.

Part competition, part reality show, season two of “Global Beauty Masters” premiered on the TLC Network on February 18.
