Five recipients of the PBA 2016 Lifetime Member Scholarship will receive $1,000 each to be applied toward cosmetology education.
This non-profit trade association will represent the entire professional beauty industry in North America - bringing together for the first time the distributor, manufacturer, and salon/spa communities in order to collectively advocate for the industry.
Salon professionals who have been affected by the recent flooding in Tennessee or tornados in Mississippi can apply for assistance from the PBA | NCA Disaster Relief Fund by filling out the Application for Aid available at www.ncacares.org in the Resources section.
Manicurists in California will once again regain their right to work independently as booth renters. Advocacy from the Professional Beauty Federation helped reverse an earlier decision.
The survey asked 2,532 salons to share their safety protocols, representing 19,392 licensed beauty professionals and services for over 2 million+ clients since reopening. The bottom line? Salons are safe for beauty professionals and clients.
