Practically every time an actor or musician is photographed for a magazine or works on film, they get their hair, makeup, and nails professionally done. So who are these nail technicians who are slaving away behind the scenes? And more important, how can you become one of them?
Most of us are excited when there is a birthday to celebrate. Even more so when it's a milestone birthday. This year, my dear friend Maisie Dunbar turned 50. To celebrate, she set out to have 50 new experiences.

The third annual award was renamed this year in honor of Vicki’s enormous contribution to education and the nail profession.
