Practically every time an actor or musician is photographed for a magazine or works on film, they get their hair, makeup, and nails professionally done. So who are these nail technicians who are slaving away behind the scenes? And more important, how can you become one of them?

Tom Bachik is a true professional and shares here his tips for getting photo shoot gigs.

Tom Holcomb may no longer do nails at the salon, but he certainly isn’t out of practice. He often travels to Japan to educate Japanese nailists, so he has plenty of practice sculpting his beautiful nails.

This month’s cover comes to you all the way from Russia. Russian women are very fashion-conscious and feminine in their styles. With a full set of nails costing around $120 U.S. dollars (and rebalances costing $60) not all women can afford enhancements, but a growing number of women visit salons regularly.
