Luminary Nails Systems was founded in 2018 by Kelly VanDahl, a nail technician with over a decade of experience, and her husband, Chris. The brand was born from a need for innovation in the nail industry and a mission to develop a superior product that outperformed and outlasted existing options. Since then, they have not only created the basis for what is now known as the “Structured Manicure,” but have innovated a number of tools and products that have rapidly proven themselves to be the new industry standard.

With over a decade spent as a nail tech and a career that has taken her everywhere from Hawaii to Las Vegas, Kelly VanDahl has worked with celebrities such as Jennifer Lopez, Mariah Carey and Olivia Newton-John. Extensive first-hand experience has allowed her to design a product line built to last. Together, she and Chris created Luminary's Multi-Flex Gel and the specially curated Colors By VanDahlline of colored builder gels.
