Q: What is your favorite thing about the nail industry?

"I built my nail clientele on nail art. I think what’s great about nail art is that you do not have to know how to paint a Mona Lisa to do nail art, it comes in all forms. What’s cool about nail art is that it’s a way to express yourself. As the nail artist you get to be a part of peoples lives in so many ways. Like being part of someone’s baby shower or wedding. You may not be attending, but you were part of making their day special.

I love nail art, especially because it allows me to continue being creative throughout my entire nail career thus far. And even though I’ve been doing nails for almost 16 years, I am still passionate about what I do because it is constantly changing. I like to push myself, and I am always willing to try anything a client brings me. I feel like this competition will only push me even further, and help me to tap into a new level of creativity that I’ve not tapped into."
