I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all the manufacturers for their contribution to the betterment of the nail industry through competition sponsorship. If not for them, we would have a very hard time finding a competition to compete in.
If you are an avid competitor, as I am, then you would do your best to not only thank the sponsors at every chance, but also to support them by looking to buy from them first when you need supplies. Companies like OPI, Zoya, LeChat, Dr. G’s, Belava, and Odyssey Nail Systems and their continued contributions to nail competitions help provide a place where the competitor can show his or her stuff, if you know what I mean.
Even NAILS Magazine helps to contribute to nail competitions by providing The Top 25 Competitors points race every year since 1993, and this blog here to help spread the word about nail competitions and their importance to the industry, and that’s just to name a few. Please, whenever possible, show them your gratitude.
And last but not least, don’t let me forget NailPro. Without their circuit of twenty plus competitions annually plus all their hard work organizing all those competitions, we (the US) would probably be limited to only two competitions per year.
So, at the risk of sounding like an economic stimulus commercial — if you want to help our industry grow and flourish then choose to spend your money in your nail community. Buy from sponsors first, invest in yourself through education and competition, and do your part to make the industry better.
To all the sponsors I say, “Thank you.”
