The Nailpro Cup in Sacramento is the final competition of the year for me. And a welcome sight I might add. I’m currently 30 points ahead on total year scores, and no one can catch me. Even if I didn’t show up, in order for someone to surpass me at this last event, the 2nd place person (and it would only be possible for the 2nd place person) would have to get 1st place in both Sculpts and Salon Success and get 1st through 3rd in the flat painted nail art and only if I didn’t show up or place in anything. Ha! Fat chance.

Of course I’m going. And of course I’m bringing home the cup!

If I sound a bit arrogant, well that’s because I’ve earned it. If a Beautytecher can go touting all over the net that they’re something because NAILS Mag put a picture of their nails on page 64, then surely I can blow my own horn on my very own blog, right?

Anyways, not only will I be receiving my third Nailpro Cup in a row (again, nobody else has done this!), but I’ll also get a fat check!

I’m probably more excited about the money right now (I’ll get excited about the award as it gets closer). It will essentially reimburse me for all the registration fees I've paid this year and a little bit more. That doesn’t mean that it covers all my expenses, but I definitely won’t snub my nose at it. Now, as for what I’m going to do with that money — truth be told it’s going into the bank to save up for a trip to Germany in March.

Because I am the Nails Magazine Top 25 #1 competitor for 2008, 2009, and 2010, and the Nailpro Cup Champion for 2008, 2009, and 2010, and the U.S. Acrylic Nail Champion for 2010, and the 2009 Acrylic Nail World Champion, I’m going back to Dusseldorf to compete for the 2011 Acrylic Nail World Championship, and I think I stand a pretty darn good chance of winning it again.

Who else has titles like that?
