Our goals are going well. Rachael and I are working hard on our referral contest. Right now we are staying even with the previous two months’ numbers and we have the rest of March to go to bring those numbers up. So I think we are doing pretty well so far. I would like to have brought those numbers up by the end of February, but having them up by the end of the first week of March is better than not until the very end. We have three weeks left until the end of the contest to really work on our referrals.
My plan is to double-check with all of the clients I have currently asked, and give them some more cards with their name on them. I also am continuing to ask my clients that I haven’t told yet about the contest and make sure they each leave with some of the referral cards and that they know about the gift basket they could win and the discount that they will get even after the contest ends.
I am looking forward to seeing how the contest turns out and which team in the salon is able to improve their referral numbers the most. It has been really great to see everyone working so hard to win the contest for their team. It has fostered a lot of teamwork and that has been the real benefit of this contest.
Jill, that’s great that so many of your clients have already purchased the packages. Though, that fact does make it harder to sell your current promotion. It sounds like you have found a great way to plan ahead to offer the promotion to the guests who have not purchased the packages.
It also sounds like you have found a great way to help track the items we may forget to ask our clients if they need more of. I think that is a great way to help keep us focused and also giving the best service to our guests.
