It’s a sad day when Lynn has to get on a plane to leave Florida. I would happily move there today. But at the very least, I plan to retire there. (I know I know, retirement is probably still 30 years away, but I can dream right?)

So anyways, I came home from Florida with one trophy and two medallions: 1st place Salon Success and 2nd place in both French Twist and Mirror Image. (Premiere only gives Lucite trophies to 1st place — 2nd and 3rd get medallions only.)

I bailed out on the Mixed Media and I’m kind of sad about it. It was the last one of the year and I really wanted to compete in it. And although I took all the supplies I’d need for it, I just was not able to give the design the time that it deserved in order for it to be complete. Oh well, there’s always next year right.

I didn’t get enough pictures of the different competitions and all the nails. I don’t know why, I guess I was distracted with all the competing (wink!), but I did manage to get some pictures of the French Twist design I did that Sunday. I thought it was pretty cool... the judges thought it was good enough to give me second place, ha ha. So, if any of my fellow competitors out there would like me to post some of your competition nail pictures here, I would be happy to. Just send them to my email addy here: (lynnberry72@yahoo.com)

Thanks!

— Lynn
