Wow! It has been a year, already? It is hard to believe that we have been writing The Coaching Chronicles together for a whole year, Jill. It has been a wonderful experience to be able to write these posts each week with you and to see how this has grown and the wealth of information we have shared.
I too want to take a moment to thank a few people who have helped me in my path: NAILS Magazine — for the opportunity to be able to share my passion for this industry with our readers each week. Thank you Judy Lessin, for your faith in us and for everything you do behind the scenes to publish this to the website. Also, Michael Cole — for your inspiration and for theJump Journal that helps me to get my business on track and keep it that way. Crystal Focus Coaching and Kristi Valenzuela — for the always inspiring business education and the continued support materials. Thanks to the girls at Misbehaven for being the best salon team I could ever hope for, and especially Rachael who has been an amazingly open individual, trying the many techniques we have shared throughout the course of this blog. She has been a huge source of inspiration, and it is a very powerful thing to see someone take an idea and run with it.
And last but not least, thank you Jill, for being so willing to share your successful ideas, strategies, and techniques with all of the nail technicians out there like myself who are hungry for knowledge. It is because of you that I have this great opportunity to participate in The Coaching Chronicles. I am very fortunate to have you to look up to as a technician, as a mentor, and as a successful businesswoman. I have grown in my business by leaps and bounds since we first met and have grown the nail department at our salon as well. Thank you for being a wonderful mentor to not only me but everyone who follows this blog.

It’s spring and everything around us is changing and in bloom. For a lot of us the snow is starting to melt and we can actually see the grass again. The grass is starting to turn

This week I am going to respond to both of Jill’s last posts. First I will talk about how a referral program during the holiday season has helped us to stay busy during January and February.
