Work Out Buddy Wanted

Join me in a 30-day yoga challenge.

A fellow nail professional recently told me about her journey with yoga and how much it has helped. It seems like a program that would be easier to insert into our busy lifestyle than other types of workouts.

It’s so much easier to convince yourself to work out when you have someone to do it with. This led me to wonder if any of you would like to begin the program with me?

It is a 30-day challenge for only 30 minutes a day. We could all begin together on Monday, September 10, and check in with each other about once a week. Set a small goal for yourself. My goal is to improve my flexibility and strength. I would like to be able to do five regular push-ups at the end of the 30 days.

What goal will you be setting? Sitting in a chair all day at work is taking its toll as we get older. The only way to combat it is with small changes toward a slightly healthier lifestyle. The yoga challenge is a video series on YouTube so you can do it from anywhere at any time. This means you can join the challenge from anywhere in the world and all of us have the ability to do it even if we travel!

I’m looking forward to having you as a workout buddy. Set your calendar reminder for Monday and let’s nail this!

Reopening? Know Your Numbers

For those of you that like a little data with your info, here is some really interesting information from salon owner Michele Baker in Georgia. Being one of the first states to open left the salon owners to scramble to learn a lot of things on their own and many have been generous in sharing things they have figured out to help make operating in the COVID-19 world more systematic and understandable.
