Almost Natural Polish
April 2014's InStyle magazine tested products to see if they really work. Mischo's Luxury Nail Lacquer claims "green," and "all-natural." The testers ensured that while not totally green, these polishes are five-free, meaning they don't have formaldehyde, or formaldehyde resin, camphor, tolune, or dibutyl phthalate (DBP). Manicurist Madeline Poole gives the polish a two thumbs up for coverage, shine and the shape of the brush. InStyle testers were disappointed about quickly their nails chipped, but with a paper-heavy office job, chipping might be unavoidable.

NAILS editor Hannah Lee appeared on The Today Show on Friday, May 2, 2014, as the counterpoint voice to a new study that says UV nail lamp users may have an increased risk of skin cancer. Hannah pointed out that you are exposed to more UVA rays from natural sunlight walking or driving to the salon than you can in a UV lamp. Last year's study by Drs.
