Market Minx as a Natural Alternative

Until recently The Dragontree Holistic Day Spa at the Portland International Airport turned away customers looking for nail care. In May the spa modified its menu to include manis and pedis with two options — a simple buff or Minx nail coatings.

Nail tech G Elizondo (right) of D’Hair to be Different in Las Vegas has had the honor of doing singer and actress Marie Osmond’s nails on several important occasions. At one of Osmond’s birthday parties, Osmond even let Elizondo bring seven friends backstage with her. Elizondo says, “We had fun watching her shoe changes because we got to see her gel toes blinging through the different shoes!”

Falling for China Glaze.
Celebrity manicurist Marsha Bialo gave actress Jessica Alba a manicure with China Glaze Sacred Heart for the cover of the summer 2010 issue of Genlux Magazine. Bialo and the stylist agreed that Sacred Heart was the perfect choice because of its neon base combined with the richness of red, making it a good transition of summer nail trends into fall.
