NAILS Next Top Nail Artist Season 3's Top 3 finalists Celina Rydén, Sarah Elmaz, and Winnie Huang flew into Chicago for this Q&A, held at America's Beauty Show, and the NTNA Grand Finale. Judges votes combined with public votes on their final challenge nails (see them here: http://www.nailsmag.com/ntna2015) along with their answers were all factored in to determine the winner.
Week 10 sponsor, EzFlow, asks our Top 3 contestants to create an enchanted fantasy world on one hand using enhancements and embellishments. This is our last weekly challenge. The Top 2, along with the winner of CND's Last Chance Design Lab, will move on to our finale competition in Chicago.
See nails on the runway at the 06:56 mark. Beauty Changes Lives (BCL) held its fourth annual event following the first day of ABS Chicago. The BCL Experience, #ShoutYourBeauty, featured NextGen hairstylists and nail artists walking the runway with their models at Chicago's Soldier Field. For the second year in a row, nails rocked the runway with CND's NextGen artists who were the Top 3 finalists in the NAILS Next Top Nail Artist competition. Chicago-based hip hop artist Kid Sister (now known as Jane Jupiter) released the "Pro Nails" single in 2007 with her debut album Ultraviolet. The music video, directed by Ruben Fleischer, is a remix of "Pro Nails" and features a verse and cameo from Kanye West. Filmed at a nail salon, it also features West and others moonwalking, dancing, and breakdancing with their fingers and newly manicured nails.
