So the end of my second competition season came to a close in Las Vegas this June. It was certainly a fast-paced month and I think I am finally catching up on all the other things
I felt exhausted, and I was in much need of a day spent with family.

The second week of school got off to a rough start. I spent most of my week finalizing my submission video for the Beauty Changes Lives /CND /Tippi Hedren Nail Technology Scholarship. The scholarship is for nail tech students, giving them the opportunity to win the full cost of their nail technology tuition to an accredited school.
The moment we’d all been waiting for was about to arrive: The Mock State Board Exam. We were extra busy this week preparing for it by finishing up the book, notecards, workbook homework, review questions, and tests. I am so happy that I no longer have to do those dreadful notecards ever again!
Taking a trip to the Caribbean can turn into an educational opportunity.
