Four Truffles natural and organic body care brand joined a select group when it was awarded the Ladies Home Journal (LHJ) “Do Good” Stamp for its philanthropic efforts, which include creating a circle of giving for women. LHJ celebrates corporations and brands that are committed to giving back to the community.

Four Truffles buys eco-friendly argan oil and shea butter for its body care products from female-owned cooperatives in North and West Africa. “Cultivating these ingredients is a major source of income for women there,” says company founder Ana Soriano. And even though the company is a start-up, Soriano donates 10% of net sales to local and international charities that help disadvantaged women and children. “It’s definitely a financial challenge for us to do this but I’m a big believer in paying it forward,” she says.

“This company has gone above and beyond to seek out philanthropic, eco-friendly products for its skincare line,” says LHJ executive editor Kate Lawler.

Using Four Truffles in Manicures and Pedicures

1. To cleanse and prep skin, use Four Truffles Creamy Body Wash to remove impurities, hydrate, soften, and scent skin.

2. Use Four Truffles Body Smoother as a gentle and effective sugar scrub. Gently smooth away dry, dull surface skin cells to reveal a fresh glow while botanical oils pamper skin.

3. Soften hands and cuticles with drops of pure argan oil blended with Bulgarian lavender oil.

4. Massage Four Truffles Body Butter into skin at the end of the treatment, prior to polish application, to seal in moisture, hydrate, and rejuvenate skin.
