Aprés Nail was represented all over the red carpet for the 2025 Golden Globes in several celebrities' nail looks. Among them were huge stars like Viola Davis, Emma Stone, Kate Hudson and Nicole Kidman.
We've chosen a few of our favorite looks from some talented manicurists. Check out the breakdowns of some of the prettiest Globes manicures below.
Jennifer Coolidge’s manicure was created by manicurist Temeka Jackson (@customtnails1):
For Jen’s manicure, we used Aprés Gel-X Tips in Natural Stiletto Medium, shaping, buffing, and cleaning with a lint free wipe.
I then mixed and matched with one coat of Aprés Gel Couleur in Spring Sigh and one coat of Pink Clouds from Aprés Light & Shadow Collection.
I cured 30 secs between applying each coat in the Beta Led Lamp.
To create the ombré look, I used the Aer Gel Machine, curing for 30 secs in the Beta Led Lamp.
I then applied one coat of Non-Wipe Matte Top Gelcoat on all 10 nails.
Using a Liner Brush and Non-Wipe Glossy Top Gelcoat to draw a thin cuticle cuff. Cure for 30 secs.
I then applied chrome and sealed with two coats of Top Gelcoat X, for a scratch resistant finish.
Viola Davis’ nail look was created by celebrity manicurist Julie Kandalec (@julieknailsnyc):

“For Viola’s nails, she wanted a look that was striking yet sophisticated," Kandalec explains. "Viola loves chrome and metallic finishes. Many people may not consider deep green to be a neutral color, but it definitely can be, and it was stunning on her beautiful skin tone. After I brushed on her custom emerald shade, the last layer truly made it come to life, making it a surprisingly fresh neutral to wear with all of her looks this weekend.”
I custom blended two parts Aloe You Vera Much with one part Birnam Wood to get a deep, elegant emerald.
Prep the nails and shape the free edge. We took her beautiful natural nails from a square to an almond shape, a new shape for her that she loved!
Apply Base Gelcoat and cure.
Brush on two coats of the custom couleur using the Aprés Flat Round Brush and cure each layer.
Using Light & Shadow Sheer Gel Couleur in Renewal, swipe 3/4 of the color off the brush and apply very lightly to the nail for a sheer wash of micro white sparkle.
Finish with a drop of Winter Returns Cuticle Serum.
Quinta Brunson’s manicure was created by manicurist Temeka Jackson (@customtnails1):

For Quinta’s manicure, we used Aprés Gel-X Tips in Natural Stiletto Medium, filing to a sharp point.
I then buffed and cleaned with a lint free wipe and acetone.
I added one coat of Overdone from Aprés Light & Shadow Collection.
I added one coat of cateye.
Cure each coat 30 secs in your Beta Led Lamp.
I added one coat of Non-Wipe Matte Top Gelcoat and cured for 30 secs.
Using a Thin Art brush, I created texture using Diamond Gel only on the tips.
I applied the design one nail at a time and flash cured 10 secs with the Omni Light and full cured all five nails for 30 secs in the Beta Led Lamp.
I added a thin layer of Non-Wipe Glossy Top Gelcoat over the texture, curing for 30 secs. I then applied gold chrome on the texture only.
I finished strong with Non-Wipe Glossy Top Gelcoat.
