Summer Nail Trend: Veined Turquoise Enhancements

Mimic the dazzling blue hues and dark, intricate veins of the gemstone turquoise with an acrylic and gel design.

How to Get the Look:

1.  Apply two coats of Young Nails’ Protein Bond to clean, prepped nails.

2.  Apply a form, then build a thin extension. Remove the form and pre-pinch the C-curve shape.

3.  Apply pink acrylic as you would for a reverse application French, leaving a ledge where the pink and color will meet.

4. Mix equal parts Young Nails’ Gullible Green, Peek-A-Blue, Neon Green, and Neon Blue acrylics. Apply a thin layer over the extension.

5. Apply a thin layer of Young Nails’ Gloss Gel, just covering the turquoise. Do not cure. Apply black colored gel from the Young Nails’ Kaleidoscope Kit, then use your brush to move the black gel very lightly to get a marbleized, vein-y look. Cure.

6.  Apply Young Nails’ Build to fill in the gap where the product needs to meet the pink reverse smile line. Cure. Use Young Nails’ Swipe to remove the sticky layer. File.
