Cameo Lace design by Katia Riccio, Varese, Italy.

Step 1: Press a medium sized bead of Chocolate Brown Powder until it’s very thin near the smile line, covering only about 50% of the extension area. Press a medium sized bead of Attraction Radiant White Powder near the extension edge from side to side. Blend the two powders by bouncing the flags of the brush over the area where the two colors meet. Press a medium sized bead of Glistening Gold Powder from side to side directly over the Attraction Radiant White Powder while pushing it up into zone 1. Press a very small bead of Glistening Mango Powder over the extension edge for a hint of color and glitter in zone 1.

Step 2: Using a fairly dry mix ratio, place a small bead of Attraction Radiant White Powder directly on the center point of the smile line. Press the bead flat so it is a circle. Still using a dry mix ratio, place another small bead to the side of the flattened center bead, slightly overlapping. Flatten with the belly of the brush.

Step 3: Continue in this manner until you have flattened five beads into circles that will follow the smile line. Still using Attraction Radiant White Powder and using a medium-wet mix, cover zones 2 and 3, pressing after each bead.

Step 4: Press tiny dry beads of Chocolate Brown Powder into the centers of the flattened white circles until they are flush. Press a dry bead of Chocolate Brown Powder flat in the center of zone 2 to form an oval. Press a smaller dry bead of Attraction Radiant White Powder into the oval you just created until it is flush. Brush with a small amount of Glistening Gold Powder to add shimmer. Form a tear drop just below the oval by pressing a fairly dry bead of Chocolate Brown Powder nto a circle. Clean your brush and taper into a point. Using the sides of the brush, form the edges of the tear drop, while pulling slightly toward the oval.  Press a smaller bead of Attraction Radiant White Powder in the center of that teardrop and form another teardrop within it.  Brush with a small amount of Glistening Gold Powder. Paint a swirl of Chocolate Brown Powder to the side of the oval.

Step 5: Paint a swirl of Chocolate Brown Powder to the opposite side of the oval. With a smaller dry bead of Attraction Radiant White Powder, place directly on top of the swirls you’ve just created.  Brush with a small amount of Glistening Gold Powder. Using the same technique, create three more tear drops on the extension edge. Allow to dry. Cover the entire design with Attraction Totally Clear Powder. Allow to dry. File and shape the nail. Be careful not to apply too much pressure or use an overly rough file. You might end up filing off some of your design. Coat with Glaze ‘n Go and cure for 90 seconds in a 9 watt UV Lamp.
