On a clear tip, place a small bead of CND colored acrylic (like something from the Bold Powders collection) at the smile line.
Continue adding small beads in a variety of colors to the smile line. Vary the shape of each bead for effect.
After completing the smile line, begin placing colored acrylic beads from side to side. (Avoid using yellow around the edges of the nail; it tends to look like a section has chipped off.)
Finish creating the mosaic effect on the tip.
Apply a translucent color (like CND Iridescent Glitter Powder) to the bottom of the tip. Apply translucent color over the French tip to fill in any gaps that may exist. Finish the nail with a 180-grit file and two coats of CND Brisa Gloss for high shine.
