Polish the nail a pink or peach shade that goes well with the client’s skin tone.

Polish the free edge black. It doesn’t have to be perfect. It will be covered with paint.

Mix together green, gold, and a bit of black acrylic paint. Swirl all three colors together, then push a liner brush down and then up to create a leaf. Arrange the leaves along the black line of the French manicure.

After the leaves have dried, use mustard yellow acrylic paint to create flower petals arranged in a circle. These lower petals don’t have to be perfect, as you’ll be putting brighter petals on top. After it has dried, use lemon yellow acrylic paint to create petals in between the first layer of petals.  Let dry.

Push in black circular flower centers. Let dry. Use the mustard and lemon yellow paints to add tiny dots in the flower centers. Apply one or two layers of top coat.
