Polish the nail dark purple.

Apply one coat of sheer shimmer blue polish.

Use white polish to paint a little more than half of the nail, creating a slight curve.

Use hot pink acrylic paint and a toothpick to make small dots to outline the cake.

Use a different pink acrylic paint and a toothpick to create three hearts under the top layer of the cake.

Use aqua acrylic paint and a toothpick to make three vertical lines on the top layer for candles.

Use yellow acrylic paint and a toothpick to add a teardrop on top of the candles to create a flame.
