Add on services are generally non-nail related services that can be added to a nail care service, and should not normally require additional licensing (for example, an esthetician's license) to perform (although the sometimes may). We often think of a paraffin dip or a specialty mask as an add-on service. Add-on services not only enhance the service for the client, they generate higher service tickets and higher profits for salons.
