Nail biting is just what it sounds like, but its effects on a client's personal and nail health can be long-term and damaging. Starting usually as just a bad habit, nail biting can often turn into a psychological disorder, where clients bite their nails so far down that they draw blood, damage the nail matrix, and cause the nail bed to be completely unprotected.
