Cosmopolitan offers some tips on how to get in on the lovely lace trend. Working with lace can be tricky so working with a friend is recommended.
- Try searching for thin black lace on a ribbon roll at your local fabric store. Thin lace will adhere better than a thick piece.
- Place the lace over each nail and cut it to fit each nail. Set the pieces aside.
- Apply a pearly polish and gently lay the lace cut-outs on top while it’s still tacky, using a toothpick to press down the edges.
- Set everything in place with a quick-dry top coat like CND’s Speedey for the lightest consistency.
