Louisiana Changes Some Administrative Rules

In Louisiana, salons offering manicuring or esthetics are now required to have sanitizers or sterilizers for implements. Also, after performing a manicure, all implements must be washed with antimicrobial wash prior to sanitation or sterilization. Changes for Louisiana cosmetology students include that all fees owed to a cosmetology school must be paid before applying for an exam, a certificate or registration, or for a license.
