Washington State Changes Rules About the Use of Lasers

Effective as of March, estheticians in the state of Washington can only use “prescriptive” lasers (which include laser, light, radiofrequency, and plasma devices that penetrate the skin and alter human tissue) if under the supervision of a physician or physician’s assistant.
