A new report from the worldwide consulting and research firm Kline & Company, states that sales of cosmetics and toiletries in India grew by 12.6% in 2006. Carrie Mileage, director of the consumer products practice for Kline says, “As India becomes more westernized, the industry as a whole is becoming more sophisticated to meet consumer demands.” India is currently the 13th largest market in the world for cosmetics and toiletries.
